Bachpan English School, Sangrur (Pb.), today celebrated World Environment Day in the school as per C.B.S.E. instructions. The theme of the day was 'Plastic Pollution'.
It was organized by the Science Department of the school. The students of Class IX and X came to participate despite vacation. The Head of the Science Department Mrs. Monika inaugurated the programme by giving a lecture on 'No Use of Plastic Ever '. Madam Sukhpreet Kaur gave an awareness lecture on 'Beat Plastic'.
Students of Class IX presented a skit on 'Save Environment'. Navneet Kaur and Aditya of Class IX and Yadwinder of Class X also presented papers. Sukhjot Kaur , Head Girl of the school took the oath and raised a slogan' Don't be Drastic, Say No to Plastic'.
Mrs. Anu Sudan , school Principal shared with the students that she would be organizing more competitions on the innovative themes related with World Environment Day 2018.
